Prof. Fushuan Wen

Fushuan Wen, an IEEE Fellow, is a renowned expert in power systems and power economics. Since May 1997, he has held the position of professor and doctoral supervisor at Zhejiang University. In addition, he has been serving as the inaugural director of the Institute of Electric Power Economy and Information Technology at Zhejiang University since 1999. From 2005 to 2010, he was honored as a distinguished professor under the "Pearl River Scholars" program in Guangdong Province. Furthermore, he assumed the role of Vice President of School of Electric Power at South China University of Technology during this period while also being appointed as the first director of the Institute of Electric Power Economy and Power Market. Notably, Professor Wen holds positions as a professor at Hainan Research Institute of Zhejiang University and Director researcher at Shenzhen Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. He has contributed his expertise globally by serving as a professor, visiting professor or visiting researcher in more than 10 prestigious overseas universities and research institutions including the National University of Singapore. More than 200 papers have been included in the Science Citation Index (SCI), over 670 in Engineering Index (EI), more than 780 in Scopus, and more than 17,900 cited papers. Since 2015, he has been consistently recognized as a highly cited scholar in China by Elsevier for eight consecutive years. The research findings received the National Natural Science Award in 1997. Additionally, seven other accomplishments were honored with provincial and ministerial science and technology progress awards. He has also been granted special government subsidies from The State Council. Furthermore, he serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Energy Conversion and Economics (SPERI, IET), Associate Editor of Power Systems Automation magazine, and is a member of the editorial board or feature editor for over ten other publications.
Prof. Moquan Shen

Moquan Shen is a professor and doctoral advisor at the School of Electrical Engineering and Control Science, Nanjing University of Technology. He has also served as a postdoctoral fellow at Southeast University, visiting scholar at the University of Hong Kong, Lingnan University in South Korea, and the University of Adelaide in Australia. In 2015, he was selected as one of the cultivation objects for the "Six Talents Peak" program in Jiangsu Province. He has successfully led 8 projects at provincial and ministerial levels including the National Natural Science Foundation, New Teachers Fund for doctoral programs by the Ministry of Education, and Natural Science Fund of Jiangsu Province. Over the past five years, he has published more than 40 papers in prestigious journals such as IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, and IEEE Transactions on Systems Man and Cybernetics: Systems; among them are 3 ESI hot papers and 8 ESI highly cited papers. Currently serving as an Associate Editor for four international journals including Journal of Systems and Control Engineering Editorial Office. Additionally, he serves as a reviewer for over 60 domestic and foreign journals such as IEEE TAC and Automatica. And he also acts as a corresponding reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation.
Prof. Simon X. Yang

Simon X. Yang obtained his B.Sc. degree in Engineering Physics from Peking University, Beijing, China. He then pursued two M.Sc. degrees in Biophysics from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing and an additional M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston, Houston, TX. Subsequently, he earned his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, Canada. He is currently serving as a Professor and Head of the Advanced Robotics and Intelligent Systems Laboratory at the University of Guelph in Guelph, ON, Canada. Dr. Yang's research interests encompass a wide range including robotics, intelligent systems control systems sensors and multi-sensor fusion wireless sensor networks bio-inspired intelligence neural networks machine learning fuzzy systems evolutionary computation intelligent agriculture intelligent communications intelligent transportation computational neuroscience. Dr. Yang has actively participated in various professional activities throughout his career such as serving as Editor-in-Chief and Associate Editor for several international journals while also being involved in organizing numerous international conferences. Additionally, he has served on grant review panels for NSERC CIHR and other grant agencies.
Prof. Song Zhu

Song Zhu, a male born in 1982 in Suqian, Jiangsu Province, is a professor and holds a Doctorate degree. He serves as a doctoral supervisor and graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2010. Furthermore, he has achieved notable accomplishments including winning the third prize of Natural Science of Hubei Province (2/4) and the Science and Technology Award of Jiangsu Industrial and Applied Mathematics Society. Additionally, he has successfully led over 10 key projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation with an emphasis on surface projects. His research contributions are evident through his publication record which includes more than 100 SCI academic papers featured in prestigious journals such as IEEE Transactions and Science in China. Notably, he has authored over 20 SCI academic papers with an impact factor exceeding 10. In recognition of his expertise, he was seconded to the Information Science Department of the National Natural Science Foundation Committee for consecutive years (2017-2022). His research interests encompass various areas including stability theory of stochastic systems, dynamic behavior analysis of neural networks, memristor technology applications, as well as fluid networks.
Prof. GIUSEPPE CARBONE

Prof. Giuseppe Carbone has been affiliated with the University of Calabria, Italy since 2018. Since 2020, he holds the position of Chair for the IFToMM TC on Robotics and Mechatronics and serves as Editor in Chief for Robotica. His research interests encompass Manipulation and Grasp, Assistive Robotics, and Mechatronics, resulting in approximately 500 published papers. He has successfully coordinated projects under FP7 and Horizon 2020 frameworks and is currently involved in various Next Generation EU PNRR projects. Additionally, he serves as Vice President of the Italian Institute of Robotics and Intelligent Machines, Member of the Board of Directors for the Society of Bionics and Biomechanics ISBE, Treasurer for IFToMM Italy Society, Editor-in-Chief for Robotica (Cambridge Univ. Prof. Zhou Gu

Zhou Gu, a professor and doctoral supervisor at Nanjing Forestry University, currently serves as the academic leader of "Blue Engineering" in Jiangsu Province. He is also a member of the Academic Committee and discipline leader of Control Science and Engineering at Nanjing Forestry University. Additionally, he is affiliated with various professional organizations including the Jiangsu Automation Society, IEEE EPS Special Committee, Cloud Control and Decision Committee, and Network Science and Engineering Special Committee. Furthermore, he holds the position of Director at the Institute of Intelligent Information and Control at Nanjing Forestry University. His research primarily focuses on network control systems, distributed control and filtering, smart grid technology, intelligent transportation systems, among others. In recent years, he has published over 100 SCI papers in prestigious journals such as Automatica, IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics,Fuzzy Systems,and Industrial Informatics,Systems Journal,and Information Sciences. Notably,his paper published in IEEE Systems Journal received the esteemed 2022 Best Paper Award from the IEEE Systems Council.
Prof. Yonghui Sun

Yonghui Sun, male, born in July 1980 in Pingdingshan, Henan Province, is a member of the Communist Party of China. He graduated from City University of Hong Kong with a doctorate degree in 2010. He is now a professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Energy and Electrical Engineering of Hohai University. He presided over one sub-project of the National Key Research and development Plan, one project of the National Natural Science Foundation, and two science and technology projects of State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power Co., LTD. He has presided over the completion of a National Natural Science Foundation youth project, a Jiangsu Province Natural Science Foundation surface project, and a number of power grid enterprise cooperation projects. In 2017, he was selected as the 14th batch of "Six Talents Peak" high-level talents in Jiangsu Province, and in 2016, he was selected as the young and middle-aged scientific and technological leaders of the fifth "333 High-level Talents Training Project" in Jiangsu Province. Up to now, he has published more than 80 academic papers in authoritative journals at home and abroad such as IEEE Trans. Power Systems and Proceedings of China Electrical Engineering, among which more than 50 are included in SCI, more than 1,500 SCI citations, H index is 19, and more than 20 invention patents are authorized. As the main completion person, he has won the first prize of 2010 Jiangsu Science and Technology Award (ranked 4th), the third prize of 2012 Zhejiang Science and Technology Award (ranked 3rd) and other awards. His current research interests mainly focus on the basic theory and application of smart energy system modeling, optimal scheduling and planning, energy big data and artificial intelligence. He taught "Principle of Automatic Control", "Filter and Stochastic System" and other courses.
