Professor Chenguang (Charlie) Yang holds the Chair in Robotics with Department of Computer Science, University of Liverpool, UK. He was a Professor of Robotics with University of the West of England, Bristol, leading Robot Teleoperation Group at Bristol Robotics Laboratory. He is a Fellow of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), Aisa-Pacific AI Association (AAIA), and British Computer Society (BCS). He is the corresponding Co-Chair of IEEE Technical Committee on Collaborative Automation for Flexible Manufacturing (CAFM), an Editor-in-Chief of Robot Learning, a Specialty Chief Editor for Computational Intelligence in Robotics of Frontiers in Robotics and AI, and a Senior Editor of IEEE Transactions on System, Man and Cybernetics: Systems. He was the President of Chinese Automation and Computing Society in the UK (CACSUK), and have served as general chair of the 27th International Conference on Automation and Computing (ICAC) and the 25th IEEE International Conference on Industrial Technology (ICIT). He was awarded EPSRC Innovation Fellowship (2018-21) and EU FP-7 Marie Curie International Incoming Fellowship grant (2011-13). As the lead author, he received the prestigious IEEE Transactions on Robotics Best Paper Award (2012) and IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems Outstanding Paper Award (2022).
Prof. Chun-Yi Su

Dr. Su received his B.E. degree in control engineering from Shaanxi Institute of Mechanical Engineering (now Xi'an University of Technology) in 1982, his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in control engineering from South China University of Technology, China, in 1987 and 1990, respectively. His Ph.D. study was jointly directed at Hong Kong Polytechnic (now The Hong Kong Polytechnic University), Hong Kong. After long stint at the University of Victoria (1991-1998, Canada), he joined the Concordia University (Canada) in 1998, where he is currently Concordia Research Chair in Control and Professor of Mechanical Engineering. He has also held several short-time visiting positions in Japan, Singapore, China and New Zealand. Dr. Su's research covers control theory and its applications to various mechanical systems. His current main research interests are in control techniques for smart material based actuators, robotic and mechatronic systems, vehicle suspension and vibration, and nonlinear control systems. He is the author or co-author of over 180 publications, which have appeared in journals, as book chapters and in conference proceedings. Dr. Su is an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology, IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, and Journal of Control Theory & Applications. He is on the Editorial Advisory Board of Mechatronics and on the Editorial Board of International Journal of Intelligent Systems Technologies and Applications. He has served on the technical program committee of numerous conferences in the area of control and automation. He has served as committee chairs of a number of these conferences, including the Program Chair of IEEE CCA07.
Prof. Moquan Shen

Moquan Shen is a professor and doctoral advisor at the School of Electrical Engineering and Control Science, Nanjing University of Technology. He has also served as a postdoctoral fellow at Southeast University, visiting scholar at the University of Hong Kong, Lingnan University in South Korea, and the University of Adelaide in Australia. In 2015, he was selected as one of the cultivation objects for the "Six Talents Peak" program in Jiangsu Province. He has successfully led 8 projects at provincial and ministerial levels including the National Natural Science Foundation, New Teachers Fund for doctoral programs by the Ministry of Education, and Natural Science Fund of Jiangsu Province. Giuseppe Carbone was born in Salerno, Italy, in 1972. He received the master’s degree (cum laude) and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Cassino, Italy, where he is being a key member of the Laboratory of Robotics and Mechatronics (LARM) for about 20 years.,From 2015 to 2017, he was a Senior Lecturer with Sheffield Hallam University, U.K., and a member of the executive board of Sheffield Robotics. Since 2019, he has been an Associate Professor with DIMEG, University of Calabria, Italy. He edited/co-edited four books with Springer International Publisher. He has been participating or coordinating more than 20 research projects at national and international level, including 7th European Framework and Horizon 2020. His research interests include aspects of mechanics of manipulation and grasp, mechanics of robots, and mechanics of machinery with more than 300 published articles and over ten patent submissions. He has received several awards, including three IFToMM “Young Delegate” Awards and two JSPS Awards in Japan. He has been a research engineer and a senior research engineer at Communications Research Centre Canada (CRC), Government of Canada. Dr. Zeng has undertaken research and teaching in several fields, including analysis and design of aircraft antennas, electromagnetic compatibility and interference (EMC/EMI), ultrawideband technology, radio wave propagation, computational electromagnetics. Prof. Yonghui Sun

Yonghui Sun, male, born in July 1980 in Pingdingshan, Henan Province, is a member of the Communist Party of China. He graduated from City University of Hong Kong with a doctorate degree in 2010. He is now a professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Energy and Electrical Engineering of Hohai University. He presided over one sub-project of the National Key Research and development Plan, one project of the National Natural Science Foundation, and two science and technology projects of State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power Co., LTD. He has presided over the completion of a National Natural Science Foundation youth project, a Jiangsu Province Natural Science Foundation surface project, and a number of power grid enterprise cooperation projects. In 2017, he was selected as the 14th batch of "Six Talents Peak" high-level talents in Jiangsu Province, and in 2016, he was selected as the young and middle-aged scientific and technological leaders of the fifth "333 High-level Talents Training Project" in Jiangsu Province. Up to now, he has published more than 80 academic papers in authoritative journals at home and abroad such as IEEE Trans. Power Systems and Proceedings of China Electrical Engineering, among which more than 50 are included in SCI, more than 1,500 SCI citations, H index is 19, and more than 20 invention patents are authorized. As the main completion person, he has won the first prize of 2010 Jiangsu Science and Technology Award (ranked 4th), the third prize of 2012 Zhejiang Science and Technology Award (ranked 3rd) and other awards. His current research interests mainly focus on the basic theory and application of smart energy system modeling, optimal scheduling and planning, energy big data and artificial intelligence.
